On this home page, I'll introduce myself and talk about the purpose of this web site. You'll learn my
interests and hobbies and how they tie to my professional career.
Let's start from the beginning. I was born at Fort Bragg, NC into a military family that settled in the area for
many years. I am a graduate of E.E. Smith High School and later, North Carolina Central University, I also attended
the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and the University of Phoenix for graduate study.
Currently, I am finishing my military career as an Army Reservist with 18 years of service. While in the military,
I received training to become an Operating Room Technician (68D), Emergency Medical Technician -EMT-B (68W) and
Licensed Practical Nurse (68WM6).
Professionally, I work as a Health Educator for a local health department in the area of chronic disease prevention and
education. Some of my other career choices are included on the hobbies and interests page.
